Nigeria Declares Public Holidays for Eid-Ul-Fitr Celebrations"

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced that Monday, March 31st, and Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, will be public holidays to mark Eid-Ul-Fitr celebrations.

This declaration allows Muslims in Nigeria to observe the end of Ramadan, a sacred month of fasting, and come together with loved ones to reflect on their spiritual journey.

During this festive period, Muslims will gather to share meals, exchange gifts, and strengthen family bonds. The holidays provide an opportunity to rejuvenate spirits, foster unity, and express gratitude for the blessings of Ramadan.

As the Muslim community in Nigeria celebrates Eid-Ul-Fitr, the government's declaration of public holidays demonstrates respect for the country's diverse religious traditions and promotes a sense of national unity.
