IGP ORDERS MAJOR POLICE RESHUFFLE: 25 SENIOR OFFICERS REDEPLOYED"




In a significant move aimed at enhancing security and service delivery, the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has ordered the redeployment of 25 senior police officers across the country.¹ This comprehensive reshuffle involves the posting of 7 Assistant Inspectors-General of Police (AIGs) and 18 Commissioners of Police (CPs) to various strategic offices.


The newly posted AIGs include:


- *AIG Margaret Ochalla*: AIG FCID Annex, Lagos

- *AIG Abayomi Peter Oladipo*: AIG Zone 13, Ukpo

- *AIG Fred Ekokotu*: AIG Zone 11, Osogbo

- *AIG Iwo Nemi Edwin Osigboka*: AIG Border Patrol Force, Force Headquarters, Abuja

- *AIG Garba Ahmed*: AIG Department of Training and Development (DTD), Force Headquarters, Abuja

- *AIG Salman Dogo*: AIG Zone 5, Benin

- *AIG Kanayo Uzuegbu*: AIG Zone 9, Umuahia


Concurrently, 18 CPs have been posted to various strategic offices, including:


- *CP Patrick Adedeji Atayero*: Commandant, Police Academy, Kano

- *CP Tolani Alausa*: AIG Zone 16, Yenagoa

- *CP Musibau Ajani*: AIG Zone 17, Akure


The IGP has charged the affected officers to embrace their new responsibilities with dedication and justify their confidence through exemplary service.
